When someone says we should judge someone by the fruit of their actions, it is usually a reprimand that we are not acting in a socially acceptable manner. There is nothing GOD like in their reprimands. If we are to become GOD like in our thinking then we must do as HE does and quit hiding behind human thoughts and actions.
Isaiah 45
19 I publicly proclaim bold promises.
I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner.
I would not have told the people of Israel* to seek me
if I could not be found.
I, the LORD, speak only what is true
and declare only what is right.
This verse tells us that we must not hide our words in obscurity but speak openly and be honest in our declarations. Too many people hide behind social masks we have been told to dawn in order to be polite. I personally do not see anything polite about veiled speech! To me this is akin to telling lies. We should make ourselves known and accept responsibility for all of our actions and only speak those things which we hold ourselves accountable for to ourselves and others. In this way we are acting as HE acts, openly and with honor, therefore being righteous and perfect in HIS Sight. Although we can never aspire in the flesh to become perfect as HE is Perfect, who says we can't try?. So try not to judge others by the world's standards, as these standards are flawed.
21 Consult together, argue your case.
Get together and decide what to say.
This verse tells us it is okay to debate an issue openly. Only by open debate do we come to agreements about what is the GOD like solution. Until all of us come to agreement there will be no true righteousness in the Christian Community of Christ. We need to get rid of factious behavior and doctrine. Only when all agree are we proven righteous.
24 The people will declare,
"The LORD is the source of all my
righteousness and strength."
And all who were angry with him
will come to him and be ashamed.
This verse tells us that eventually, those of us whom are True Believers will come together in respect for one another and let GOD rule over us as HE intended. True humility is the acceptance of GOD as the All, the ruler and creator.
Humility is not letting people walk all over us because we are too polite to tell them we don't appreciate them stepping on our toes! I can guarantee those who proclaim this and teach this to others is a pharisee.
25 In the LORD all the generations of Israelwill be justified, and in him they will boast.
[This Verse refers also to Isaiah 58:9-12) In that once the children of Jacob
(Israel and all her offspring], come back to righteousness
then all the peoples of the world will acknowledge Israel's
rightful place as GOD'S first and chosen and HE will once again bless them.
9 Then when you call, the LORD will answer.
'Yes, I am here,' he will quickly reply.
"Remove the heavy yoke of oppression.
Stop pointing your finger and spreading vicious rumors!
10 Feed the hungry,
and help those in trouble.
Then your light will shine out from the darkness,
and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.
11 The LORD will guide you continually,
giving you water when you are dry
and restoring your strength.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like an ever-flowing spring.
12 Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities.
Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls
and a restorer of homes.
Until the Children of Jacob (Israel) do all of these things there will be dissension in Christianity, whatever form it claims to take.
